Earthpace: 4 Week Journey with Rowan
This 4-week course is steeped in ancient wisdom and modern herbal practices, focusing on the mystical Rowan tree. We will begin on the sacred festival of Imbolc—a time of quickening, renewal and rebirth. Together, we will honor the energies of protection, wisdom, and connection that Rowan embodies, as we step into the light of the returning season.
Throughout this course, we will delve into the mythology and medicine of Rowan, a tree deeply connected to magic and protection in Irish tradition. Known as the "Tree of Life," Rowan has long been revered for its ability to guard against harm and inspire courage and insight.
Over the course of a month, you will:
Learn how to develop a relationship with plants
Learn about the Wise Woman Tradition of Healing
Learn about ethical foraging & harvesting
Learn about the mythology of significance of Rowan
Experience the benefits of working with Rowan
Receive recipes
Connect with other earth-loving people
We also have a very special Guest Speaker who will join us live in February. Speaker information will be announced soon.
We will have 4 live calls, beginning with an opening ceremony on Imbolc, February 1st, via Zoom. All calls will be recorded for those who can not join the live sessions.
This course requires no previous experience with plants or herbalism. If you are new to the world of herbalism this is a great introduction.
There is one scholarship spot as well as a half-price spot available as well, please reach out to me via email (dez@inthegarden.ie) if you’d like to apply for one of these.
COST: Sliding scale €130-170 (Cost includes course + Rowan workbook + Handmade gift)
